Can it be used to cool or warm items other than wet towels or face towels?

• REION is specifically designed for wet towels and face towels. For any other uses, such as foods, cosmetics and merchandise, there is no warranty.

The temperature of the wet towels feels like it varies from day to day. Why?

• The temperature inside the cabinet can vary due to external temperature and the frequency of opening and closing the door. When the ambient temperature of the installed location of the main unit is 25°C, the temperature inside the cabinet is as shown below.
  COLD mode: 5°C - 10°C／LOW mode: 45°C - 55°C／HIGH mode: 65°C - 75°C

I want to switch between Warm and Cool in sync with the time of day. Is it possible?

• Since it is a feature of REION to use different modes in sync with the time and occasion, please use it in any manner you wish, but it may take a variable amount of time to reach the required temperature in the cabinet.

Is it usable when the external temperature is rather high or rather low?

• The usable ambient temperature range is 5°C - 40°C. Although it may take a variable amount of time to reach the required temperature in the cabinet, the product can cool or warm as specified if the ambient temperature is within this range. When the ambient temperature is out of this range, please do not use the product because the product may be damaged.

If the cabinet is cooled/warmed by air-conditioning, I am worried that the wet towels might be dried out more quickly.

• Although it depends on the use duration and the environment, the humidity of the cabinet is maintained at a certain level and the speed of drying is not faster than the conventional products when used under standard condition. You don't have to worry about them drying out.

Do you have any recommended method of use to save power?

• It will save more power if you warm in HIGH mode and then switch to LOW mode when reaching a certain temperature. Also, if you turn the power off after reaching the desired temperature and use it with residual heat, it will save more power because it has high heat retention properties. The cabinet also has temperature retaining properties for COLD, so you can also expect similar effects by turning off the power after reaching the desired low temperature.

Does the cooling and warming time change due to the position of storing the wet towels in the cabinet?

• The cabinet is homogenously cooled/warmed by Air Circulation Technology®. Since the fan motion circulates the cooled or warmed air all over the cabinet, the towels can be cooled or warmed evenly if they are placed in any positions in the cabinet.

Is it possible to use COLD and WARM for the upper and lower step in the cabinet separately at the same time?

• You cannot separate COLD and WARM by upper and lower step.

Why does the sound of the fan stop when opening the door?

• In consideration of both safety and convenience, the fan is designed to stop and the LED lamp to light up when the door is opened. When the door is closed, it starts to run again. To improve the cooling and warming effects, we recommend minimizing the frequency of opening and closing the door.

I feel that the actual storage capacity is smaller than the specification.

• Our capacity guideline is based on standard 90-monme wet towels and 220-monme face towels. This capacity can change depending on the thickness and size of the towels.

Is it OK to leave the power on?

• When not in use, turn the power off. If you use continuously over a long period, we recommend changing the wet towels and face towels frequently just for sanitary reasons. Please do not leave the power on without storing any towels at all. Pull out the power cable from the socket if you are not going to use it for a long time.

Is there any risk of a burn while in use?

• Since the internal structure of this product is covered by resin material, there is no risk of a burn if you touch the internal wall. There is no need to worry when you replenish the towels.

I feel it now takes longer to cool than just after I purchased it.

• It may take a longer time when the filter on the rear panel of the REION has accumulated dust or if there is any waste which is disturbing the air inlet and outlet. Please make sure you remove the filter and clean it at least once a month.

Which is the recommended position to install it?

• REION's outstanding feature is that it's industrial design can familiarize itself to any interior or space in whatever location it is installed, such as at a reception desk, guest seating, a counter, office or private room. Please make sure to use it indoors. To use REION comfortably, read the instruction manual carefully during installation and follow the conditions such as installation dimensions requirements.

Is it possible to install the products one on top of the other?

• When you double mount two REIONs, install them in accordance with the installation method described in the instruction manual.

What is the country of origin?

• The product is made in Japan.

I used to use other wet towel cabinets which had many failures. Does REION have such problems?

• REION uses an integrated type of core engine for maintenance considerations and positively employs reliable Japanese parts for the main parts. The products are also manufactured and build in Japan, so it is a Japan made genuine product. In the event of a failure, since unit replacement is now possible, repair work can be carried rather than having to purchase the entire product again.

What should I do in the event of a failure?

• In the event of a failure, please make sure you read the warranty clause in the instruction manual, and contact the manufacturer or the distributor where you purchased the product. The product has a three-year manufacturer warranty under certain conditions and within the range of standard use. If the failure occurs after the warranty period has expired, repairs are accepted with a charge.
